Young Adult Club

Connect. Explore. Belong.

Looking for a place to meet people your age, try new things, and have fun in a welcoming and accessible environment?

The Young Adult Club at Action Centre is designed for adults with physical disabilities aged 21–35 who want to stay connected, build friendships, explore new interests, and make the most of young adulthood.

Whether you’re transitioning from school, looking to expand your social circle, or simply searching for a place where you can be yourself, you’ll find a community that is supportive, inclusive, and full of opportunities.

Build Confidence & Independence

Being a young adult is about discovering who you are, what matters to you, and how you want to participate in the world around you.

At the Young Adult Club, you’re encouraged to share your ideas, make choices, try new experiences, and develop skills that support greater independence and self-confidence.

Through workshops, discussions, volunteering opportunities, creative projects, technology sessions, and real-world experiences, members are empowered to explore their strengths and pursue their goals.

Find Your People

Let’s be honest—after graduation from school, it can be harder to meet people and maintain the friendships and routines that school naturally provided.

That’s where the Young Adult Club comes in, a place to connect with peers who share similar experiences, create new friendships, and enjoy everything from casual conversations and coffee outings to games, movie watching and more.

Sometimes the best friendships start with a shared laugh, a team challenge, or simply sitting beside someone who gets it.

Have Fun Along the Way

Yes, personal growth is important, but so is having fun!

Whether we’re exploring Montreal, testing our knowledge in trivia, trying a new recipe, creating art, celebrating special occasions, or simply spending time together, there’s always something happening.

Because some of life’s best moments happen when you’re learning, laughing, and connecting with others.

Follow Your Interests

No boring lectures here!

You will help shape the program by suggesting topics, activities, and experiences that interest you. One week we might be exploring astronomy, photography, travel,

technology, or pop culture. Another week could include creative projects, discussions, community outings, wellness activities, or something completely new.

More Than a Program

The Young Adult Club is more than a calendar of activities.

It’s a community! Here, your voice matters, your ideas are welcome, and your participation helps shape the experience.

Come as you are! Meet new people! Try something new! Make it your own!
